George Stinney
Advocacy
On this page we have compiled a list of rescources which we encourage you to use. There are the contact information of a judge and solicitor who have reviewed and are involved in the case, as well a letter format for you to write to them.
One of our main goals for this site is to spread as much awareness as possible in hopes of a reopening of this unfair trial. You can help by using this letter format, or one of your own, and sending it to either the judge or solicitor majorly involved in the case to voice your opinion on the reopening it.

(Insert name of person you are addressing),
Hello, my name is (insert name here). I am writing you regarding the re-opening of the case of George Stinney. I have made the conscious effort to be an advocate for this young child that was killed unjustly.
I have read and researched much about this case and I believe that this case should be reopened. This young boy lost his life without a fair trial, nor any concrete evidence for his conviction. He was much too young to be killed.
Though you may not believe it is worth it, that child deserves so much more than what we all ask for. The least he deserves is support, awareness, and a chance at a fair trial.
Reopening this case is not about bringing George Stinney back. This case is about fighting for justice when no one did the same for him while he was still alive. This case is about making a difference. This case is about righting a 70-year-old wrong.
This case cannot die. This case will not die.
Thank you for your consideration
